Noah Glenn Bennett
At the age of only 13, Noah Glenn Bennett founded his own production company in February 2020, Against the Tide Media. What began as a school project for his Adobe Premiere Pro editing course, Noah teamed up with screenwriter Darren Scott Jacobs to host a Youtube interview with The Chosen actor, Giavani Cairo. Wildly popular, one became two, two became four, and four became a series with four hosts and counting.
Noah is now moving on to fulfill his ultimate dream of filmmaking. His purpose, simply put, is to share the brilliant light and love of Jesus Christ through providing a place for God-given talents to shine. But though the gift quality a story that will appeal to a broad audience. Showing, not telling.
Hi, my name is Noah Bennett (aka Maestro)... you may know me for my work with Against the Tide Media. Our platform has been dedicated to promoting "outside the box" Christian content with clever messaging on faith/love.
I was always a huge fan of "The Chosen" series, but I was hooked by the time Episodes 5-8 of Season One came around.
A few months after, I was hit with the idea of a Revelation series.
But wait... REVELATION? Hasn't that been done before?
These thoughts filled my head. I knew I wanted to do something Revelation, but different.
Then I was hesitant to even bring it up to Jenna as she was working on another project at the time. But I couldn't stop myself.
So I pitched to her the bare minimum concept and we brainstormed away. Our hearts knew this story was from God.
It was so difficult not being able to tell others what we were up to for the past two years.
Then came time for Jenna's thesis film, and everything changed.
Why not take the main storyline from the series, and use her thesis as the pilot? That's where her brilliant minds came in.
And so here we are now...
Let’s get this pilot made!
I know this show won't be for everyone... it deals with some pretty dark and gritty stuff. I get it. But I wanna be clear about my purpose for it too. So buckle up for the spoilers.
The antichrist character is portrayed as an human being. Like us. Even a good person at heart, who has made some choices that weren’t great and ended up possessed by satan. He's not the devil himself, or some conniving psychopath who wants to control humanity. He just doesn’t know that he is. And the kicker, Jesus is fighting for his soul.
Some might say that we shouldn’t focus on evil for a story. Others might get put off by the idea that in this story, it’s possible Jesus could save him. But let’s put it this way.
Wasn't Jesus' sacrifice for the redemption of ALL who repented and believed in him... regardless of who they are and what they've done? "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9
If that isn't true, then I guess I've misunderstood the entire gospel. But I know in my heart it's true.
No one is beyond redemption. That’s my purpose. That’s my heart.
If you’d join me in making this project, it would mean the world to me. I've pretty much had to manage all other pre- production as Jenna is working two jobs to help raise funds... that's how passionate we are about this story.
The plan is October 3rd through the 13th of 2022. And I would love to have you there. There’s a few options on how you can do that so check out the “store”. There’s also some cool gear like tees, hoodies, and hats. And you can also get some exclusive partner sneak peeks there too. Wanna read the script? We got you. Just no spoilers, k?
Thx so much for reading and supporting! You guys (and a little help from above) have the key to getting us to we're we are now... I cannot tell you how much that means to us!
